Our Approach to Mineral Sourcing
Solar panels require minerals including silicon, silver, copper, aluminum, indium, and tellurium. LONGi is committed to ensuring that all minerals used in our products are sourced from responsible operations that uphold environmental, human rights, and governance standards.
Silicon (Polysilicon)
Full traceability to smelter level. All polysilicon suppliers third-party audited against SIFPLA and UFLPA requirements. No sourcing from conflict-risk regions.
Silver
LBMA-certified silver sources only. Conflict-free certification required from all silver suppliers. Progressive reduction through cell design innovation.
Aluminum
Preference for recycled aluminum (>50% recycled content). Suppliers required to disclose mining country of origin and environmental management practices.
Copper
Copper suppliers screened against OECD Due Diligence Guidance for responsible mineral supply chains. Conflict-free certification maintained.
