LONGi is committed to achieving No Net Loss (NNL) of biodiversity across all manufacturing sites by 2027 and Net Positive Impact (NPI) by 2030. We assess biodiversity risks for all facilities and project sites, implementing mitigation measures following the biodiversity mitigation hierarchy.
Reforestation Program
LONGi has planted over 1 million trees across manufacturing site boundaries, creating wildlife corridors and carbon sinks.
Pollinator Habitats
Transforming solar park land under and around panels into pollinator-friendly wildflower meadows, benefiting local bee and butterfly populations.
Aquatic Ecosystems
Floating solar installations designed with fish-friendly structures, improving aquatic biodiversity in reservoirs and water bodies.
Native Species Restoration
Working with ecologists to restore native plant communities at all manufacturing sites, replacing invasive species with locally appropriate vegetation.
